I%26#039;m after a good teeth whitening product that actually works. Something i can use at home and buy from a chemist. Do you people know of anything??
Teeth whitening??
Overall I would say that most of my patient%26#039;s have had some measure of success with the Crest Whitestrips, some more than others. Our office uses Crest Supreme which are much stronger than what you can buy in a drugstore and don%26#039;t cost that much more ($60.00 vs $30.00). You can purchase the drugstore version, but do yourself the favor of using them right after you get your teeth cleaned as any staining and buildup (tartar or plaque) will impede their ability to work. Also, don%26#039;t use fluoride toothpaste before putting the strips on (same reason). The strips are probably your best low price alternative, much less than in office whitening or custom trays (about $500.00). I am also hearing happy reviews with the Aquafresh whitening trays, unlike the strips they don%26#039;t have the tendency to slip or move). All of the methods (strips, trays, custom trays, in office whitening) have the potential to make your teeth temporarily sensitive, but will not harm the enamel. You might try to drink dark liquids through a straw and don%26#039;t smoke. Most whitening toothpastes just remove stain on the surfaces of your teeth and therefore are not so effective. Whatever method you use it will not whiten your teeth for life, as you age your teeth will get darker and may need to be whitened again.
Good luck!

Reply:Crest Whitestrips
Reply:GoSmile makes toothpaste and whitening kits that work GREAT- a bit more expensive than most- but I swear I saw a difference in ONE use with the toothpaste! www.gosmile.com
Reply:I user Blanx from boots, it quite expensive around £7 but is quite good, I get the intense stain removal one.
Reply:i use denivit around 3.00 sterling
Reply:Quite a few people are allergic to the chemical which whitens teeth so watch out.
Reply:don%26#039;t waste your time and money on DIY product, just go to a dentist and get it done professionally, it will last longer too.
Reply:the crest 7 day whiting strips work but i recmend 7 days more than 14 days
Reply:try asking your dentist for some good and safe recommendations. http://www.oramd.com/teeth-whitening-art... also has some good list of options you can try. Hope it helps!
Reply:i have just seeen a colgate whitening paste, it costs about 4 pounds ,it can only be used once a week , the tiny tube has enough for 6 aplications, read the ingredients, some people are allergic to titanium dioxide , this is an ingredient in some whitening toothpastes.
